I hate when people try to quilt you into things. This has to be one of the lowest of things one person can do to another. If you ask someone anything and that person is polite enough to say NO, then it should be over.
That is it.
They said no.
To me it is VERY disrespectful. It says you do not value that person. You are unconcerned with their life and you are only trying to manipulate them through guilt into doing what you want. How selfish is that? Basically you have said,
I do not care what you want as long as I get what I want.
We have become a society of SELF and lost the beauty of respect.
Sad.
